Demand Planning and Logistics Manager: Woburn, MA (229870)
Job Description

KBW has teamed up with a medical device company in the Burlington area in search of a Demand Planning and Logistics Manager.  This position will manage a small staff, and coordinate the Planning, Logistics and Materials Department resources and support the department goals and business plan.  The Demand Planning and Logistics Manager will have visibility with C-level executives and be responsible for the following:

 

  • Supervise planning parameters, logistics and consistently update the organizational plan
  • Manage the procurement of all product, non-product, operational supplies and capital purchasing
  • Reporting and analysis on inventory, back orders, stock analysis, etc.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales departments/managers on forecast analysis, trends, backorders and inventory levels
  • Oversee the buying / planning process to ensure coverage for product thru its life cycle
  • Work with new suppliers to plan and prepare purchasing strategies
  • Vendor management/audit/selection
  • Material procurement, negotiations, contracts, purchase orders
  • Manage a small staff

 

 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and the following qualifications:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         5+ years of Supply Chain / Purchasing Management experience

·         Strong Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and vlookups

·         Experience working in a small company environment

·         Exceptional analytical skills

·         BS Degree Required

 

Compensation:  $75,000 - $85,000, plus bonus
