Job Description
Reputable manufacturing company in Wilmington, MA is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will be primary responsible for all budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis activities. Possessing an excellent attention to detail, The Senior Financial Analyst will perform the following - 

Responsibilities 
  • Execute all the primary functions of Corporate Finance - planning, budgeting, advising, analyzing, presenting, and deciding
  • Assess critical key new product development opportunities
  • Supports month-end closing process and controlling procedures by preparing journal entries and accruals 
  • Develop and present insights and well thought out recommendations to leaders
  • Develop and utilize financial modeling techniques to evaluate risks and opportunities
  • Develop and update business cases to facilitate Executive decisions
  • Provide research support for strategic development studies seeking to maximize current and future profitability
  • Deliver a multi year forecast, communicating investment decisions
  • Develop, prepare, consolidate and present to senior leadership reports and analysis which drive understanding of financial performance and company direction
  • Review month-end financial reports; provide variance analysis against forecast, research financial irregularities, and use the analysis to develop meaningful financial reporting and analytics
  • Consolidate and participate in monthly forecasting collection and review
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets
  • Leverage Business Intelligence tools to drive stronger insight into the business
  • Assist with Annual Strategic long term planning and budgeting
  • Look for ways to improve process efficiency and make process improvements
  • Maximize efficiency, driving results that impact the bottom line, being a strategic partner on a global, cross-functional team
  • Determine resource efficiency, holding business unit leaders accountable

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of relevant working experience
Prior budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis experience 
Experience with larger ERP systems
Strong data analytics 

Compensation Package 
Up to $100,000 depending on experience
Discretionary Bonus
Excellent Benefits
