Purchaser/Buyer
JOB SUMMARY
A manufacturing company located greater Springfield, MA is actively seeking a Purchaser/Buyer for an immediate opening. The Purchaser/Buyer will be primarily responsible for sourcing, negotiations, and procuring materials, parts, and services required for production. The Purchaser/Buyer will perform the following:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Analyze inventory levels to determine purchasing needs
- Create purchase orders
- Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Strong Excel experience
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Compensation Package: Up to $70,000 depending on experience
